21st-century creator, LemLig (mL) minted a 6-piece graphic autobiography inspired by 20th-century German-American psychologist Erik Erikson's works in developmental psychology & psychoanalysis (1950s).
The inspiration is interpreted through an acidic pop art framework, juxtaposed against the artist's own personal psychological developmental journey within the context of Erikson's developmental scale.
Originally conceptualized & rendered in 2006; the DCNT (Decentralized) storyboard-style collection is now tokenized with digital authenticity on the Ethereum blockchain.

COLLECTION CHRONOLOGY
When assembled, the 6 individual pieces visualize the journey from childhood to adolescence and finally adulthood. Arranged as seen below, the story runs in chronological order of human psychological development according to EE.
PSYCHOLOGY VISUALIZED
The 6 pieces are actually 3 x 2 piece groups, each parallelling the stages of psychological development. The smaller and softer round-edge scenes of optimism are paired with a larger more formidable hard-edge scenes depicting the darker chapters of each stage. Notice the numbers at the base of the diagram; they represent the minting sequence of the creator. Clearly they are out of sequence with the natural chronology of EE's developmental evolution. The creator's minted cadence tells the same story but as a non-linear interconnected chain of events.
CONNECTED THROUGHOUT
Eventhough the 6 pieces depict strikingly different stages of physical & mental development, commonalities exist amongst all of them. Below is a color coded key to unlock the similarities within the works.
RED = “D” (DCNT) is the symbol of identity & familiarity appearing in each piece. Easily recognizable in some and nearly impossible to see in others, depending on the stage.
PURPLE = Background tentacles & clouds of curiosity represent childhood imagination as ever-present & reaching in all directions. Seemingly twisted in adolescence & ultimately giving way to the confident powerful straight rays of a clear path to adulthood. (But paths lead in both directions).
YELLOW = The main subject(s) of each piece. #1 features 1 figure (female), #2 features 2 figures (boy & beast) & #3 features 3 figures (all male).

ERRORS
As tightly as a vision is choreographed, errors still occur. Realized during the minting process & rectified after #6. #7 is the last and final minting of the collection. Lucky #7 replaces #2 as the proper edition of the work. #2 is currently owned by the creator & not for sale. This guarantees that only 6 (1/1) pieces in the collection remain in circulation.
